Coming into this practicum I never imagined myself working at a grade 8 level but here I am at Glanford Middle School learning so much from this experience and these kids!

It was hard at first to envision my fellow classmates working with younger students, doing circle time, centers, music and such, I felt that I was missing out on this once in a lifetime experience working with an age of children I couldn’t see my self engaging with. However, after being at this school now for 3 weeks has completely changed my perspective and has given me a more opened mind to all the possibilities of teaching.
